A week of creativity and confidence 

This week has been full of creativity, confidence building, and hands on learning across the campus.

Our Creative Performance rehearsals have taken centre stage, with students practising their roles while using their masks. They have been developing expression, movement, and character, showing growing confidence as they prepare for their final performance. The focus and enthusiasm they have brought to each rehearsal have been fantastic to see.

In Maths and Life Skills, learners took part in roleplaying realworld scenarios by “shopping” for items. Through this, they explored how money is used, practised simple transactions, and developed their understanding of value and choice. They really enjoyed taking turns as both shopkeepers and customers, making the activity engaging and meaningful.

Linking to our core English text ‘There Is a Tiger in the Garden’, learners created beautiful dragonflies inspired by the story. They used a range of materials to design imaginative creatures, showing great attention to detail and creativity. These artworks will be displayed as part of our ongoing work.

It has been a wonderfully productive week, with learners showing curiosity, teamwork, and growing independence across all activities.
