Sharing Ideas Through Talk
Learners took part in a Voice 21 Springboard for Talk activity called “Would You Rather…?” They chose between world peace and the world’s riches, then shared their choices and reasons with the class.
Abdiwali chose world peace so that wars would stop and his family and friends would be safe. Salehin chose the world’s riches, saying he would buy everyone a home. Lexie chose world peace because she wanted everyone to feel safe and happy.
Vennie also began identifying which religions different symbols belonged to.
