Planting and Growing
We're excited to tell you about the amazing journey your child has been on. They've been discovering the magical world of planting seeds and looking after plants.
They've become plant experts. Planting seeds and caring for them to help them grow big and strong. They've been watering their plants and making sure they get plenty of sunlight. And we've been watching the plants grow with wonder, like magic beans popping up!
We've also talked about the need to be responsible helpers at school. The children have taken on many great tasks. They tidy up and care for their plants and others.
Through these activities, the students are having fun. They're also learning about the science of plants and their growth.
We hope your child will share their gardening adventures with you at home. You don't need a lot of space, a plant pot or a window box will do. If they do, we'd love to hear all about it.
Learners have settled well into their new classes, new year groups and, for our year 7s, new school. We're all raring to go after the half term break!
Soon, all school related communication will go through School Gateway.
