Welcome back to all parents and carers.
We are delighted to be working with the Platinum Performing Arts group for the next four weeks.
The Platinum Performing Arts group focuses on building the confidence of young people.
Students in Zorn, Sanchez, Simmonds, Hamilton and Omar will be taking part in a weekly workshop.
Learners will have an opportunity to express themselves creatively. Through the medium of acting and performance, students will try different activities.
Learning outside of the classroom allows the students to experience new environments. It also enhances their personal and communication skills.
The students will explore issues that affect young people in the local community. They will turn the topics raised into a script for a theatre production. We are excited to see the final piece.
Learners have settled well into their new classes, new year groups and, for our year 7s, new school. We're all raring to go after the half term break!
Soon, all school related communication will go through School Gateway.
