Our Visit to Hertfordshire Zoo
Every year, the Rotary Club kindly sponsor a trip to Hertfordshire Zoo for all our children. This was no exception on Wednesday 12th June, as our students embarked on a special trip.
Our learners came to look at all the wonderful animals. They enjoyed meeting the zebras, meerkats, lions and tigers. They even saw some life-like dinosaurs who gave the students quite a fright.
Learners also had a chance to see many of the topics they studied throughout the year come to life. This is beneficial for our learners. It allows the to make connections between topics in the classroom, to real life scenarios.

Learners have settled well into their new classes, new year groups and, for our year 7s, new school. We're all raring to go after the half term break!
