Welcome Back!
Welcome back, everyone. It's been wonderful to see our learners settling into their new classes. They are embracing the start of the school year.
Our Year 7s have been particularly impressive, diving headfirst into secondary school life.
In classrooms across West Lea, there's been a buzz of activity. Pupils and teachers are getting to know each other through a range of activities.
It is wonderful to see new relationships forming. It is also a joy to see familiar faces reconnecting after the summer break.
Brannigan class have been working hard on their persuasive writing skills. I am looking forward to getting a letter from the class very soon!
And let's not forget about lunchtime. Our football classes are back in full swing, with pupils eager to kick off the new term on the pitch. The enthusiasm and energy on display have been fantastic to watch.
I am filled with excitement for all the growth, learning, and achievements that lie ahead for our West Lea community this academic year!
