Campus update

Science is buzzing at West Lea!

Our pupils are diving into exciting experiments and activities. They are sparking their curiosity and also nurturing essential life skills.

Our learners have been:

  • Exploring the solar system in Year 7
  • Investigating energy changes in Year 8
  • Delving into chemical reactions in Year 9

But did you know that science isn't confined to the classroom? It's all around us!

Chopping vegetables to reduce cooking time. Popping food in the fridge to keep it fresh. That's science in action right there in your kitchen.

Fancy some home experiments?

We've found a brilliant resource with fun kitchen-based science activities. Why not give them a try? We'd be thrilled to see photos of your budding scientists at work.

Remember, science isn't just about facts; it's about curiosity, problem-solving, and teamwork. So, let's keep exploring and learning together!
