From Dragons to Sky Gardens: A Week to Remember at Haselbury

This week, we celebrated World Maths Day in style.

Did you know the event holds a Guinness World Record? Inspired by this, we set out to create our own record-breaking moment – building a giant tangram dragon in the dining hall. It was fantastic to see learners working together, arranging geometric shapes to bring the dragon to life.

Curious to try tangrams at home? All you need is some paper, scissors, and a little creativity.

Elsewhere, some of our Year 8 learners visited the Nanak Darbar North London Sikh Temple as part of their RE studies – a brilliant opportunity to explore faith and culture in action.

Meanwhile, Bruno Class reached new heights with a trip to the London Sky Garden, taking in stunning views of the city.

It’s been a week of maths, culture, and fresh perspectives.

Wishing all our families a restful half-term break. We look forward to welcoming everyone back on Monday 2nd June for the final half-term of the academic year.
