Omar Class at the Cinema — Penguin Highway Adventure
This week, our Omar Class embarked on an exciting learning adventure that beautifully combines travel training and science. As part of their science learning, they visited the Lea Valley Odeon cinema to watch Penguin Highway.
The movie follows young Aoyama, who becomes intrigued when penguins mysteriously appear in his town. His journey is all about asking questions and seeking answers – core scientific skills our learners are developing. The film wonderfully illustrates how observation and inquiry can help us understand the world around us.
For many of our learners, this was their first cinema experience, and they returned to school buzzing with excitement! We're so proud of their engagement and enthusiasm.
As a special bonus, the cinema is offering a chance to win a voucher – simply submit a review of the movie if you'd like a chance to see the film with your child:
