Celebrating Spring Together
Spring is finally here, and we have lots of exciting news to share. Our Dance Club had an amazing time at the annual dance show on Wednesday. The theme was colour, and our learners wore bright, multi‑coloured costumes. It was wonderful to see everyone smiling, dancing, and having fun on stage. A big thank you to Ms Charlie, our visiting dance teacher, for making this event special.
We celebrated World Down Syndrome Day on Friday, as the actual date, March 21, falls on a Saturday. This year’s theme, ‘Together Against Loneliness’, reminded us to be kind, include others, and make sure no one feels left out. Pupils and the team wore odd socks to show that everyone is unique and special. Each class took part in a fun ‘21 Challenge’, which meant doing something 21 times such as jumps, bubbles, or fingerprints. It was a great way to celebrate differences and enjoy time together.
We would also like to wish everyone in our school community and their loved ones a very Happy Eid. We hope all families marking the occasion have a peaceful and joyful time together.
A reminder that next week is our final week of the spring term. School will finish on Friday, 27th March at 12:30pm.
