Where Potential Meets Opportunity
Last week, we were delighted to host a Work Experience Employer Event at Millfield, bringing together local employers to explore new opportunities for our learners. The event celebrated the positive impact that young people with additional needs can have in the workplace.
Current employer partners shared their experiences, highlighting the enthusiasm, dedication,and unique strengths that our young people bring to their businesses as well as the many benefits of building inclusive workplaces.
Our learners were at the heart of the event, welcoming guests by managing the sign-in process and serving a delicious selection of baked goods they had prepared. They demonstrated their skills, confidence, and professionalism, giving employers a first-hand insight into what they can achieve.
Our Job Coaches, Sarah delivered an informative session on disability awareness, while Kristian shared practical tips on providing the right support to help our learners succeed.
It was a fantastic event that strengthened our partnerships with employers and showcased the incredible potential of our learners. We are grateful to everyone who attended and look forward to creating even more opportunities together.
