Horizon Campus

Campus update

It’s been a busy week here at Horizon.

The Fury class students are currently working on a project in their Construction lessons at college.

They are making footstools by measuring wood and fitting the pieces together. The students are using tools such as a vice, chisel, mallet, and saw.

By working on their project, the students will learn valuable work skills commonly used in construction, including cutting, shaping, sanding, joining, and painting timber.

They will also learn about health and safety in the workshop and the importance of personal protective equipment (PPE).

Well done to all our learners who are doing such great work!

We wish our interns all the best as they embark on their employment journey through the supported internship programme.
