This week we've been celebrating National Careers Week!
This event provides guidance and free resources about career and job opportunities to learners across the U.K.
At Horizon campus our students have been busy learning about a variety of industries and job roles.
This has included a visit to the National Theatre where learners got a chance to find out about the performing arts sector including all about what goes on backstage.
On another trip learners went to Canary Wharf – London’s central business district - where they went to KPMG and experienced meeting and greeting visitors, they learned about coding and were treated to a lovely mocktail!
During a more local visit, one class went to Troubadour Meridian Water Studios where filming takes place for shows that you may have seen on Netflix!
We wish our interns all the best as they embark on their employment journey through the supported internship programme.
Soon, all school related communication will go through School Gateway.
