This week, Adams class worked on a fundraising project in their ICT and Creative Media lessons.
They sold Easter cones, cakes and raffle tickets and raised £80 for Children in Need.
The project was a great way to put their newly developed skills to use. They designed promotional posters, handled data, communicated and worked as a team, sourced and designed products, and even did cash flow forecasting on Excel.
They approached the project with enthusiasm, learnt a lot and found it very rewarding. We want to say a big thank you and well done to everyone who took part.
Finally, a reminder that this term comes to an end next week.
There's an INSET day at college on Thursday 28th March and so the last day of term for KS5 students is Wednesday 27th.
However, Watson class will continue with their work experience as usual on Thursday 28th March.
We wish you a peaceful and restful break.
