Campus update

I have enjoyed visiting morning tutorial this week. The focus has been on raising awareness of 'Mental Health Week.' I listened to staff and students talking about the activities they do to help keep them healthy.

Ms Almond shared with her class that she enjoys doing yoga in the woods. She shared a picture of her doing yoga amongst the bluebells and shared her favourite yoga pose.

In Adams class, students discussed the benefits of music therapy. They also discussed the importance of getting plenty of sleep and listening to calming music.

In Watson class, students took part in some physical challenges led by Mrs Griffiths. They got rather competitive!

These activities have been a welcome break from taking part in assessments. We are encouraging students to focus on their mental wellbeing.

You can do the same at home using some great online resources. Take a look at the Mental Health Foundation and Kooth websites.

We wish our interns all the best as they embark on their employment journey through the supported internship programme.
