We were lucky to have double Olympic gold medallist Joanna Rowsell visit some of our learners. She gave an inspirational talk about her experience as a professional athlete.
Braun class got to hold her medals and took part in a Q&A. They asked some insightful questions, such as, "How did you feel when you crossed the line when you won in London?" and "What was it like to meet the Queen?"
They were curious to find out what Joanna has been doing since she stopped competing. They enjoyed her talk and were engaged throughout.
We wish our interns all the best as they embark on their employment journey through the supported internship programme.
