A Colourful Week of Creativity and Community
We’ve had a very colourful week at Horizon!
It’s been fantastic to see the artwork produced in Creative lessons. Learners have been designing unique pieces inspired by our school values. Each one will be sewn together to form a vibrant masterpiece that will be proudly displayed in the Ponders End common room.
In Life & Work lessons, students have been exploring community action and planning a series of charity fundraisers. They’ve created eye-catching posters to advertise their events, including tombolas, balloon sales, and a foosball tournament (also known as table football).
Last week, as part of Mental Health Awareness Week, learners also took part in a range of lunchtime activities focused on community and connection. The week ended on a high with our ‘Wear It Green’ day — bringing even more colour to the campus.
It’s been a joyful, creative week filled with teamwork, expression, and school spirit.
