Campus update

Hard Work, High Hopes, and Horizon Pride

It’s been a busy and rewarding few weeks at Horizon, as learners across campus have been working hard on their end-of-year assessments.

Whether sitting GCSEs, Functional Skills tests, or completing vocational qualifications, our students have shown incredible resilience, determination, and pride in their progress.

At Horizon Sixth, it’s been a real pleasure to see just how far our learners have come in their vocational courses. Catering students have been preparing delicious dishes independently, while Creative Media learners have designed their own websites - each one showcasing their unique flair and technical skill.

Our senior interns have continued to thrive in their work placements, balancing the demands of real-life work experience alongside Maths and English for their workplace accreditations. They’ve handled this with confidence and maturity.

We know this time of year can feel intense, so we’ve also made space for wellbeing. From creative projects and mindfulness sessions to relaxed breaktime activities, we’ve aimed to help everyone manage the pressure and finish the year feeling proud, calm, and supported.

Let’s keep cheering each other on as we head into the final weeks of term.
