Interns meet their new employers at the Horizon Job Fair

It’s been a busy second week for Senior Interns on their induction for the Supported Internship. The week culminated in a Job Fair hosted at our Ponders End campus on Friday.

We had a record number of attendees and a record number of employer partners who exhibited with us. Many of those who attended are offering work placements on the Supported Internship this year. Others came to meet our Interns, find out more about working with us and to enjoy the tea and biscuits!

There was fantastic energy in the room as Junior and Senior Interns, supported by the wonderful team of Job Coaches, met with our partners. They discussed the placements on offer and the type of work they might do.

We are very proud of the way the interns represented themselves and the school. The feedback from the employers was very positive. They enjoyed speaking with the interns and starting to build relationships with them. This makes the next step of matching Interns to their work placements much easier.
