Boxing Fitness Sessions: Building Confidence and Wellbeing
Since the spring term, a group of learners have been participating in weekly boxing fitness sessions delivered by PowerBoxFitness on our campus.
During these sessions, they engage in structured, non-contact activities designed to build fitness, confidence, and coordination. The coaches, Carla and Kem, create a positive and engaging atmosphere, using humour and encouragement to keep learners motivated. As Mr Haji, our PE teacher, shared: “The sessions suit a range of abilities, from beginners to more experienced learners. The instructors’ humour makes them even more enjoyable.”
The sessions have provided a valuable opportunity for learners to try something new in a supportive environment. We are very proud of their enthusiasm, participation, and the way they represent the school.
