Year 10 Learners Complete Duke of Edinburgh Excursion
Last week, Year 10 learners took part in a two-day Duke of Edinburgh Bronze Award expedition at Gilwell Park. During the excursion, learners learned how to pitch and take down tents, cook their own meals, and work together in a range of team-building activities. The experience helped them develop confidence, independence, and teamwork skills while spending time outdoors.
This trip was an important part of the Bronze Duke of Edinburgh Award. Throughout the rest of the year, learners will continue working towards the remaining sections of the award, including volunteering, learning new skills, and taking part in physical activities. We look forward to sharing their progress and achievements with families as they continue their Duke of Edinburgh journey.
