Having studied environmental awareness in Knowledge of the World, the students were keen to to improve our air quality by planting trees.
Using the money raised in our recent cake sale, they had enough to buy two apple trees at Crews Hill garden centre - one for cooking and the other for eating.
It might be a while before the trees make a difference to the air or bear fruit but good things come to those who wait, and we look forward to seeing the results.
Finally, a reminder that this term comes to an end on Thursday 28th March, when we finish at 12.30pm.
We wish you and your family a happy and restful break.
The learners worked so well together. They were a genuine credit to our school. Well done Learning for Life.
