This week, we've been making reading fun.
As part of our Key Stage 4 English curriculum, students have been reading 'The Boy in the Bindi'.
Learners studied the identity of the main character by finding key words and phrases. This exercise helps the students to develop their vocabulary. It also improves their understanding of what they're reading.
You could try this at home. Read a book with your child and ask them to pick out words that help them describe and identify their favourite characters.
The learners worked so well together. They were a genuine credit to our school. Well done Learning for Life.
