Happy Chinese New Year!

On Wednesday, the 29th January, we celebrated Chinese New Year.

The learners came together to decorate our library area. They enjoyed bringing the vibrant colors and festive spirit of the occasion to life.

It’s heartwarming to see learners embracing the tradition. Creating a space that reflects the culture and joy of the celebration was an important part of the day.

As a part of our celebration, we held a special assembly. Students enjoyed learning about the various traditions associated with the Chinese New Year. Learners got to dive into the cultural significance of this time of year. From exploring traditional foods, to the symbolism behind the celebration.

This year, we are focusing on the Year of the Snake. Learners took the time to understand the meaning behind this zodiac sign.

The celebration didn’t stop there! In the afternoon, the learners participated in various fun and educational activities. From calligraphy to crafting lanterns, the students engaged in hands-on learning. They got to celebrate the occasion in a meaningful way.

It was a wonderful opportunity for everyone to experience the richness of Chinese culture and come together as a campus in joy and unity.
