Out and About!

Learning for Life students recently embarked on an exciting trip to London. They visited the iconic Natural History Museum before heading to the theatre, to watch the spectacular musical 'Wicked'.

The day began with an immersive exploration of the Natural History Museum. Students discovered exhibits on dinosaurs, marine life, and human evolution.

They marveled at the towering skeletons of prehistoric creatures. They also explored the wonders of Earth’s geology. This helped to deepen their understanding of history and science.

The visit provided an opportunity to connect classroom learning with real-world discoveries. It sparked curiosity about the natural world and the impact of conservation efforts.

The learners continued their adventure with a visit to the theatre. Students enjoyed a performance of 'Wicked'.

The show tells the untold story of the witches of Oz. The students were captivated by the stunning visuals. For many, it was their first experience of a West End production. It made it a truly memorable and inspiring event.

This trip was a perfect blend of education and entertainment.

Learners had a chance to expand their knowledge, experience London’s cultural landmarks, and develop an appreciation for the performing arts.

L4L will be turning RED to celebrate Red Nose Day next Friday 21st March and we are asking you to come to school ‘red-to-toe’ too. Whether it’s a red shirt, red socks, red hats, or even a red tutu, we want everyone to get involved.
