Business is booming at Learning for Life!
As part of 'Life and Work', we support our learners in developing enterprise skills.
Learners undertook the exciting challenge of creating a range of products. Students were selling them to the rest of the campus.
They worked harmoniously to produce items such as:
The event took place during a lively lunchtime. Learners showcased their handcrafted goods but also experienced first-hand the art of salesmanship.
They had to attract customers and promote their products. They also had to handle transactions, and engage in persuasive communication. There are all valuable skills that will benefit them in the future.
It was a fantastic opportunity for them to build confidence, work as a team, and understand the fundamentals of running a small business in a fun and practical way
