Exploring the World, One Trip at a Time

It's been another fun and enriching week at Learning for Life, with learners heading out to explore some of London's incredible cultural landmarks.

These trips are part of our focus on Knowledge of the World, a key component of the WJEC qualification. They help deepen learners' understanding of history, culture, and global awareness in hands-on, meaningful ways.

One group had the opportunity to visit the British Museum, where they explored world-famous artefacts including the Rosetta Stone, Ancient Egyptian mummies, and Greek sculptures. Learners were full of curiosity, asking thoughtful questions that sparked some lively discussion back in class.

It's been fantastic to see their engagement and enthusiasm - and to watch the world come alive through their eyes.
