Wellbeing and Big Milestones at Learning for Life

It’s been an important and eventful week at Learning for Life, with a focus on both wellbeing and exams.

Our students have been working hard on their Functional Skills assessments – taking meaningful steps towards the next stage of their educational journey. Their focus and dedication have been brilliant to see.

Alongside this, we’ve been supporting learners’ wellbeing through creative, class-based activities. On Wednesday, all students took part in sessions designed to support their mental and emotional health, with opportunities to reflect, draw, and talk about how they’re feeling.

We also made time to care for our team. In the afternoon, Ms Maria, one of our class teachers, hosted a thoughtful and much-appreciated Afternoon Tea for staff – a chance to relax, recharge, and connect with colleagues.

A huge thank you to Ms Maria for her kindness and care this week. Thanks to her, and the whole team, Learning for Life continues to be a positive and nurturing place for everyone.
