A Memorable Milestone for Our Year 10 Learners: DofE Expedition Success
This week marked a special moment for our Year 10 students. They set off on their two-day Duke of Edinburgh (DofE) expedition, a significant step in their personal development journey.
Over the course of the expedition, our learners demonstrated resilience, teamwork, and independence. Tasks included pitching tents and preparing their own sandwiches, to cooking dinner outdoors. They embraced every challenge with enthusiasm and maturity.
Day two brought an unexpected but delightful encounter with nature. As you can see in the photos, students found themselves surrounded by a field full of curious cows. A moment that added both humour and wonder to their adventure.
We are incredibly proud of how our students conducted themselves throughout the expedition. They showed a positive attitude and willingness to step outside their comfort zones. This truly reflected the spirit of the DofE programme.
