Year 11 Bring Winter Wonderland to Campus
On Wednesday, Year 11 learners turned our campus into a festive Learning for Life Winter Wonderland to celebrate the Christmas season. As part of their Life and Work lessons, they have been working on an exciting enterprise project where they are learning to design, create, and sell their own products.
The event showcased a delightful range of homemade cookies, refreshing drinks, and beautifully crafted items such as bags, pencil cases, cosmetic products, and sweet treats. Year 11 parents were also invited to join and support the learners by buying these wonderful creations.
This was more than just a marketplace, it was an opportunity for our learners to develop essential life skills, from managing money to understanding the value of buying and selling. A fantastic experience that combined creativity, enterprise, and festive cheer.
The programme is for children and young people in Reception - Year 11. This season’s dates are 22nd, 23rd, 29th, 30th & 31st December 2025.
Children receive a hot meal each day and attending the programmes keep them active, fed and engaged so ready to come back to school after the holidays.
This is a DfE funded programme and free for those in receipt of benefit related school meals.
