Learning beyond the classroom
As part of our new curriculum carousel, Dutoit Class now spend their Thursdays at Horizon, our Post‑16 provision. During these sessions, learners take part in a structured programme that includes Catering with our new chef, Physical Education, and Life & Work skills.
This experience helps to widen their learning and gives our Year 11 students an early introduction to the Horizon campus. By getting used to the setting, daily routines, and staff, learners can begin to feel more confident and ready for their planned transition into Year 12.
We are excited to see how these sessions support learners’ growth and help them take their next steps with confidence and independence.
