Congratulations to the Basketball Champions
On Thursday, our learners proudly represented Enfield at the London Youth Games Basketball Tournament and achieved an amazing victory.
Out of 12 teams, our players showed great teamwork, determination and skill. They won all their group matches against Haringey, Merton, and Hackney, finishing top.
They carried this momentum into the knockout stage, winning the semi-final and reaching the final. In a fantastic match against Bromley, our learners dominated and won 21–4 to become champions.
Special mention to Benji, the top scorer, and Denis, who won a £200 equipment voucher for two excellent penalty shots.
A huge congratulations to all our players for their hard work, sportsmanship, and fantastic success. Our champions have indeed made very proud.
