Rainbow Fish Art Week

This week, learners at Dysons Road enjoyed a fantastic Art Week inspired by the story The Rainbow Fish. Throughout the week, they explored the story’s important messages of kindness, sharing, and friendship, linking these discussions to our behaviour policy of being Ready, Safe and Kind.

We also connected our learning to Pride Month, giving children the opportunity to talk about how everybody is unique, special, and valued. 

Every class participated in a range of creative activities based on The Rainbow Fish, using different materials, techniques, and ideas to express their learning. As part of the week, each class created a piece of artwork to contribute to a large collaborative display, celebrating both their creativity and the shared values at the heart of our school.
