Flourishing People = Flourishing Learners

Thank you to all families for your support this week while the school was closed to learners on Wednesday for our INSET Day.

At West Lea, we strongly believe that when our people flourish, our learners and wider community flourish too. The day gave team members valuable time to focus on their own learning and professional development. They worked on personal learning objectives and action research projects, helping them build a growing “suitcase of skills” to support every learner across our school.

Our team members explored new ideas, reflected effective practice, and shared strategies that strengthen teaching, learning, and wellbeing.

Investing in our team means investing in the best possible outcomes for our learners.

We will now take this learning into our day-to-day work at our campus, using it to enhance opportunities, remove barriers, and help every learner thrive.

Together, we are creating an environment where everyone can flourish.
