At our Dysons Road campus, the children in year 3 and 4 have been exploring weddings as part of Religious Education lessons.
The focus has been how Hindu's celebrate weddings.
The children built their own sacred fire out of building blocks and tissue paper this fire ritual is known as Havan.
They have also made a safe henna dye from chocolate powder and flour! They created lots of different patterns on a hand template.
In Year 1 and 2 they have been looking at growth and decay over time.
The children are planting tulips and learning how to look after them this term. They are keeping a diary on how the plants grow.
Reception and the whole of Dysons Road enjoyed a visit from Little City - a wonderful, interactive and inclusive role play experience.
The children were able to explore different job roles and equipment linking to our life skills based curriculum.
Please ensure your child has suitable winter clothing for school so they can take part in outdoor learning. We recommend a coat, jumper, hat, closed shoes or trainers
We use splash suits to keep children dry when they jump in puddles!
