Campus update

World Book Day is when we get to share our favourite stories and dress up as our book heroes or heroines. We had a great time celebrating.

The children especially enjoyed a character hunt where they needed to find the teachers who were dressed as certain characters.

As you can see from the photo at the top of this page, the Springfield team dressed up as 'The Day the Crayons Quit'.  This is a lovely book all about colours.

We hope to inspire your child with a life-long love of reading and we always have a book that we are learning about in our English lessons. If you're unsure what we are reading, check our weekly updates from your child's classroom teacher.

We'd like to thank you and your children for embracing the spirit of World Book Day and joining in so well.

Please ensure your child has suitable winter clothing for school so they can take part in outdoor learning. We recommend a coat, jumper, hat, closed shoes or trainers

We use splash suits to keep children dry when they jump in puddles!
