Meridian Campus

This week we have been focusing on Maths across Meridian Campus.
At Dysons Road, the children have been learning to read and recognise numbers to 10. The children have been matching numbers as well as counting objects. We have also been listening to counting songs like "5 Little Ducks".
At our Springfield site, we have our Westco shop set up. The children have enjoyed taking it in turns to be the cashier, and being the customer by taking an object.
The children have loved using paint in their Maths lesson. They also used cotton buds to group things together. This is how we teach multiplication.

Please ensure your child has suitable winter clothing for school so they can take part in outdoor learning. We recommend a coat, jumper, hat, closed shoes or trainers
We use splash suits to keep children dry when they jump in puddles!
