Children in Need Day 2024

Last Friday, we celebrated BBC Children in Need Day 2024.

Children in Need Day is a great time to reflect on the amazing achievements our children show us every day. Some of these are tiny and some are huge.

They are all important and make a huge difference to the development of our children. Their #takingoff! journey is of primary importance. There is no better way of displaying it than through special events!

Children at both sites baked spotty cakes. They used specialised task planners to follow step-by-step instructions. The task planners allowed students to bake independently.

Students enjoyed dressing up in yellow clothes, spotty clothes and other fun outfits. They were celebrating the differences that people have.

Excitingly, Pudsey Bear came to Meridian Campus (he was virtual!) We all loved having selfie’s with Pudsey!

On another note, we are happy to hear the positive stories from parents. Students are making great progress at home.

Please keep sharing these stories, as we love to hear about these achievements!

Have a great week.
