Campus update

A fine February half term!

This week we've been practicing fine motor skills.

Fine motor skills are a practice of activities. They help our children grow strong muscles in their hands and wrists to help their daily life skills.

We practice these every day at school. Here's some examples you can try at home in the holidays:

  • Moving buttons, peas, smarties, pom-poms or crisps from one bowl to another with fingers, pincers or chop sticks
  • using scissors to cut paper
  • wrapping toys in paper
  • pegging Socks on a clothes line
  • google search "fine motor activities" for many more ideas!

We hope you have a fine February half term practicing fine motor skills with your children!

Have a lovely week, See you on Monday 24th February.
