Campus update

Our progress with PODD!

This year we introduced PODD. It helps staff communicate with children. It helps children access learning and communication for learning. We have seen incredible results with PODD in the first six months of introducing the system. Thank you to all families who have shared how well it's going at home too.

If you'd like to know more about how we use PODD or need resources at home, please contact the office. This week we are sharing PODD for fingernail cutting.

Some children scratch when they are trying to communicate with children and adults. It is a typical communication behaviour for many children with SEND, particularly Autism. We hope this PODD board will help with cutting nails at home so we can reduce any injuries caused by scratching.

See below for important diary dates.

Have a great week.
