Ready for Take Off

What a wonderful week it’s been at Meridian Campus.

Transition is in full swing, and it’s been brilliant to see children across the school getting ready for their next steps. From EYFS to Year 6, everyone’s handled the changes with calm confidence, even in the heat.

Our new Reception learners joined us for a stay and play session this week. They were full of excitement and curiosity as they explored their new space. It was lovely to see them beginning to settle into life at West Lea.

EYFS children have been visiting their new Key Stage 1 classes, while our Key Stage 1 learners have been getting to know their future Year 3 and 4 classrooms. Year 4 pupils are continuing their weekly visits to Springfield, and Year 6 spent the day at Haselbury on Friday — a big step as they prepare for their next chapter.
