Welcome to a New Year at Meridian

We were excited to begin the 2025–26 school year and help your child settle in with their new class team.

Each week, you’ll receive three photos or videos on the Evidence for Learning app. These will give you a window into your child’s progress in maths, literacy, and personal development.

Over the next week, your class team and key worker will give you a call to check in. They’ll keep in touch regularly to help you support learning at home.

You’ll also have the home–school communication book, where you can share short messages about how things are going at home, and we’ll let you know how the day has been at school.

We want every parent and carer to feel part of our Meridian community. Throughout the year we’ll be hosting both on-site and online events, and we’d love for you to join us. We’ll share details through these Spotlights and via text messages.
