How key workers support growth and well-being

Each child in Meridian is allocated a key worker. This will be a member of the class team, and they work closely alongside the class teacher to support your child’s:

• Learning and development
• Communication skills
• Emotional well-being

Over the year, your child’s key worker will build a strong, supportive relationship with them, helping them to flourish and feel confident in their learning environment.

Your key worker will share weekly updates in the home/school communication book. These updates will include highlights from your child’s week, achievements, and any special moments we’d love to celebrate with you.

The class teacher oversees the key worker to ensure that all support is consistent, personalised, and aligned with your child’s learning goals.
