Spring Chickens at our campus
It has been a very exciting week at Springfield. Our Living Eggs project has brought so much joy to our learners and to us. Last week, we received a special delivery of 12 eggs ready to hatch.
In science, we have been learning all about life cycles and what living things need to grow. Our learners have been brilliant scientists, watching tiny cracks appear on the shells. Then, this week, the big moment finally came. Our fluffy baby chicks arrived.
Then we discussed the famous question everyone wants an answer to: What came first — the chicken or the egg?
We can’t wait to watch our chicks grow over the next few days.
