This week we're showcasing some of the brilliant sensory teaching that happens in class every day. Our children love to learn through play. Our adults do too!
In Infants, the children have been counting numbers in tuff trays, reading their story books and playing in the home corner.
In years 3 and 4, they've been counting numbers in maths and using “Build it, Draw it, Say it” to remember their counting. They used objects to count and then used Numicon sets to help them say the numbers out loud.
In years 5 and 6, the children have been learning about volcanoes. They'll also be building them as we continue exploring the topic this term.
Please ensure your child has suitable winter clothing for school so they can take part in outdoor learning. We recommend a coat, jumper, hat, closed shoes or trainers
We use splash suits to keep children dry when they jump in puddles!
Soon, all school related communication will go through School Gateway.
