Stop, Look and Listen
It's been a quieter week here at West Lea, giving us a chance to catch our breath after the flurry of activity last week.
We kicked off with a fantastic celebration of Children in Need Day on Friday, 15th November. Our classrooms were busy with many arts related activities.
This week, we've turned our attention to an important topic: road safety.
Gallagher class took the lead by presenting an informative assembly. They were able to remind us all how to stay safe near roads.
Their top tips? Wear bright colours in the dark and always remember to stop, look, and listen before crossing the road.
Looking ahead, I'd like to remind everyone of our upcoming long weekend. Learners will be out of school on Friday 29.11.24 and Monday 2.12.24.
