Reduce, reuse, recycle week at Haselbury Campus

This week, we celebrated our first Recycle Week, a national event held every September.

Our learners engaged in a variety of exciting activities throughout the week:

  • In assembly, learners talked about how to manage waste by reducing, reusing, and recycling resources.

  • Tuesday saw some classes litter picking in Pymms Park, while others cleared our school field and playground.

  • Wednesday and Thursday were dedicated to creativity. Learners transformed recyclable items into accessories and unique art pieces.

  • We concluded the week by planting seeds and learning about composting.

This experience has been more than just an educational activity. It's been a chance for our learners to reflect on their own environmental impact.

Why not encourage your child to take the lead on recycling at home using their new knowledge?
