Campus update

Transition Visits to the Learning for Life Campus

As part of our transition programme, learners from our campus have been visiting the Learning for Life campus each week, to help them prepare for moving from Key Stage 3 to Key Stage 4.

These visits help them become familiar with the new environment, routines, and expectations they will experience next year. They also took part in classroom learning, helping them understand what lessons will be like in Key Stage 4.

Last Thursday, Lister Class had a very positive visit. They stayed for both break and lunch, giving them time to meet others, explore social spaces, and experience the day-to-day routine of the site. Learners had the opportunity to choose and enjoy their lunch from the canteen, which many found exciting and empowering.

The group approached the day with maturity, curiosity, and enthusiasm. Their confidence is growing each week, and it is fantastic to see them engaging so positively in the transition process.
