Last month, we had some very chirpy characters arrive at Springfield.
We had 9 eggs arrive on Monday 4th March and on the Wednesday we had 9 chicks hatch!
The children were very excited to watch the eggs begin to crack and see the chicks grow.
We learnt we had five female chicks and four male chicks.
We had a few weeks to look after the chicks and hold them.
They've now gone back to the farm and we miss them.
Please ensure your child has suitable winter clothing for school so they can take part in outdoor learning. We recommend a coat, jumper, hat, closed shoes or trainers
We use splash suits to keep children dry when they jump in puddles!
Soon, all school related communication will go through School Gateway.
