Campus update

Sunny days and outdoor play

We've made the most of this week's spring sunshine with plenty of learning through play. As we move into the summer term, children across both sites will spend even more time outdoors, enjoying hands-on, nature-based learning.

This week, Key Stage 2 learners took part in a local community project, helping to shape plans for a new park in Edmonton. They shared their ideas about what they would - and wouldn't - like to see in the space. It was a brilliant opportunity to have their voices heard and take part in a real-life design process.

Outdoor learning has so many benefits. It supports children's mental health and wellbeing, builds their connection with nature, and makes learning more inclusive, active, and engaging.

To help your child enjoy and fully take part in outdoor learning this term, please:

  • Apply sun cream before school. Unfortunately, we're not allowed to apply it.
  • Pack a water bottle. Plastic bottles only please - we're unable to accept metal ones.
  • Send a spare set of clothes - in a bag that can be hung on your child's peg. Children usually wear splash suits, but they may prefer lighter clothing in hot weather.

Thank you for your support.

We hope you enjoy a lovely bank holiday weekend.
